A dianteira e traseira contam com para-choques revistos, com um novo desenho e pormenores a imitar alumínio, que para além de proteger, dão um interessante contraste extra, que é acompanhado pelas capas dos espelhos retrovisores e pelas barras do lateral é visível todo o revestimento feito em plástico preto (digno de quem está pronto a enfrentar as dificuldades de terrenos mais difíceis), bem como as jantes de 17’’ polegadas, prata e cinza, que já conhecemos de outras interior, por sua vez, não conta com diferenças. Não tão moderno como o C-HR, que partilha o segmento, o Auris conta, ainda assim, com um interior bem acabado sem erros de montagem, com materiais de boa qualidade em algumas partes do tablier. Em Autoestrada, e sem ultrapassar os limites, o consumo pode mesmo de existir uma aprendizagem para se conduzir com esta caixa CVT, tentando o melhor uso do acelerador, de forma a evitar acelerações bruscas (e um aumento de ruído e de consumo), de qualquer forma, o seu comportamento dinâmico mostra-se são, não sendo, contudo, esse o mote desta proposta, mas sim o de ser um competente automóvel familiar, com “pinta” de o condutor “aventureiro”, a Toyota oferece de série o ar condicionado automático, as jantes de 17’’, vidros traseiros escurecidos, assistente de travagem, câmara de estacionamento traseiro, cruise-control, sistema de reconhecimento de sinais de trânsito, bem como o ecrã multimédia de 7’’.Contudo, por pouco mais de 1200€, a versão Exclusive, que não tem este estilo mais ousado, conta com bastante mais equipamento. Technisch zijn er geen wijzigingen, de Auris Freestyle heeft geen vierwielaandrijving of extra bodemspeling. Toyota meldt dat de Touring Sports Freestyle in een gelimiteerde oplage gebouwd gaat worden, maar hoeveel exemplaren dat dan zijn is nog niet bekend.
