I can try it on another TV. My TV is an old unit, it's not 4K. It's Philips 42PFL5603D/10. NOW box model is 4200SK software version is 9.0.3 build 4070-10. I'm not sure if I can change the HDMI profile but the NOW box display is 1080p HDCP 1.4. Yes the message is very similar to yours but doesn't included the 2.2 bit. Thanks . Philip
Post here anything related to Android-based STB / TV devices (MX Android etc.) or software that runs on them (Kodi etc.).
Sadly, it sounds like your 'white' box may have reached the end of its life . Every now and again, various retails offer NOW TV 'bundle' deals, where you can buy a 'black' box together with either 'Entertainment' or 'Cinema' voucher passes for a lot less than buying the two products separately.
First, connect your TV to the web. (If you have a wired network, connect your Ethernet cable before you begin.) Click on the Smart, Menu or Settings button, depending on your remote control. Select Network – this is shown as a globe with a plane flying around it. Go to Network Connection, followed by Start Connection.
Stream anywhere. Choose Smart TV, app, console or desktop. It's easy: choose your membership, sign up and start streaming. Watch TV series, movies and live sports online with our apps or stream to your Smart TV.
Offer: Save £3/mth on Sky Cinema + Save £7/mth on Sky Entertainment & Netflix + Reduced price broadband + Free setup (Ends 30/11/2023) The Sky Cinema pack with Sky Stream costs £11 on an 18-month contract, or £13 on a 31-day term. NOW Cinema Membership is £9.99, or often less with certain broadband and TV bundle offers.
NVIDIA SHIELD. If you’re new to cord-cutting, we suggest first using an Android TV Box that is distributed by a reputable manufacturer such as Amazon, NVIDIA, MECOOL, or Google. These distributors usually provide ongoing updates which should provide a quality streaming system for at least two to three years.

The NowTV Smart 4K box does say playing in UHD when watching the first 5 mins of the episode and the PQ did look really good. So i would yes the NowTV 4K smart box will play this TV series in UHD if you have a 4K TV connected to the NowTV 4K smart box. I know @commanda6 also has a NowTV 4K smart box and a shiny new LG 4K television, perhaps he can confirm the above and also confirm the HDR / HLG side of this on his new LG television when using the 4K NowTV smart box with the BBC iPlayer App when watching the Dynasties TV series. Hi @crashcris @schnapps The NowTV smart box 4K does indeed play dynasties in 4K with HDR. Interestingly enough, because of what appears to be a bug in the current build of iPlayer on my TV. HDR doesn't work when playing dynasties through the iPlayer app on the TV, but does work when playing it through the smart box 4K. But at least that means I know there is nothing wrong with the TV itself. Because the smart box 4K is connected to the TV I have reported it to the BBC, so we will see what happens LG TVs will actually tell you when HDR content is being output. They will also tell you the type of HDR content that is being played. It tells you through a small pop-up that appears on the top right hand side of the screen. This pop-up only appears for a few seconds. The smart box 4K supports both HDR 10 and HLG HDR I do not work for Now .
